A quick fix to what bothers you
Chances are, there’s something in your life that’s bothering you. In fact, I bet something popped up just as you’re reading this (our brains are funny that way). So, would you like to know how to get it out of your head?
The thing about things that bother us is that they tend to behave a bit like burs. They’re prickly little things that cling to us even though we don’t want them to, and they’re hard to get rid of at that.
Much like getting rid of burs, getting rid of bothers is a surprisingly simple process which has much in common with how you get rid of a band-aid: rip it off, or leave it there.
You could spend an inordinate amount of time complaining about it and discussing the matters with people from all walks of life, which would get you absolutely nowhere.
Or you could simply take a minute to decide whether it bothers you enough that you’re going to do something about it. If it does? Rip it off. If it doesn’t? Be content with your decision, and go do something you enjoy instead.
Either way, you’ll be better off than you were before.
