How to really, really, really focus on doing the right thing
For me, last week was… disastrous. Due to a case of creative ADD, I was going off in all directions – achieving little and yet again being reminded that falling off the productivity bandwagon is to be expected. This week, I’m hellbent on getting it right. Here’s how.
Grab a piece of paper, and draw a line down the middle.
Atop, left, write ‘Yay’.
Atop, right, write ‘Oy’.
Every time you take a break, spend half of it considering whether you have really been doing the absolutely most important thing in your universe for your last work period.
Make a mark on the appropriate side of the line.
Do this every second day, so as to give yourself some space to breathe.
