Serenity: Transcendent twilight at the lakeshore

There’s something peculiarly soothing about the stillness of a lake – and perhaps even more so in the morning, just before the world wakes up and starts moving at breakneck speed, annihilating the possibility of enjoying a quet moment.

 

This reminds me of camping as a kid, when digital distractions were nowhere to be found. All we could do was talk to each other, and – once we ran out of words – just listen to the silence and the birds.
